Join Dr. Kristin Williams, physical therapist and senior LYT Instructor for a weekend of LYT workshops in beautiful Ann Arbor, Michigan!  Assisted by senior LYT instructor and native of Ann Arbor, Teagan Schweitzer.

Each workshop will begin with an educational movement lab followed by a LYT Method flow, focused on the theme of the workshop.  A Q&A session will be offered at the end of each workshop.

5.5 hours of Continuing Education credits are available through Yoga Alliance for those who participate in all 3 workshops.

Workshop 1:

Connect To Your Core (Saturday, October 5th: 10am-12pm)

Transform your strength from the core outwards. In this empowering 2-hour workshop, you'll delve deep into the importance of connecting to your core muscles. Workshop 2:

Balance Your Back (Saturday, October 5th: 1pm-3pm)

Did you know that low back pain is the number one cause of disability across the globe?   Whether you're recovering from discomfort or seeking to prevent future issues, this workshop offers targeted exercises to strengthen and stabilize the low back, improve your posture, and create balance in the body to promote spinal health. This 2-hour workshop is dedicated to revitalizing your low back and investing in your body's future.

Workshop 3:

Stretch For Longevity (Sunday, October 6th: 9am-10:30am)

Embark on a journey towards longevity and better balance in the body with this transformative 90-minute workshop. Explore the art of dynamic and static stretching techniques tailored to enhance your body's resilience and flexibility. Gain invaluable insights into your body's mechanics and learn practical tips for sustaining peak performance and well-being. About Kristin Williams, DPT:

Kristin Williams is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Senior LYT Instructor with 24 years experience as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist. She received her Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University in 2000 and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Regis University in 2010. She is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist who focuses on manual therapy and biomechanical assessments of the human form. She became certified in the LYT Method in 2014, is a primary instructor on the LYT Daily website, and is currently the Director of Operations for LYT Yoga, Inc.. Kristin also cohosts the LYT Method Redefining Movement podcast with fellow PT and creator of LYT, Lara Heimann. She uses her passion for anatomy, biomechanics, and functional movement to inspire her classes and her love of all genres of music to motivate her students! She became a disciple of the LYT Method due to its intelligent sequencing and neuromuscular re-education of the body.
