About Thalia:

Thalia is a movement educator with a passion for wellness and personal development. She believes that by exploring our mind-body connection and investigating daily movement habits, we can optimize our lives. She’s a licensed Physical Therapist, LYT® yoga instructor, Athletic Trainer, Second Degree Reiki Practitioner, Wellness Coach, and Recreational Barbell Athlete who has helped hundreds find freedom of movement, heal from injury, and unlock physical potential.

She graduated with a B.S in Athletic Training at The Ohio State University where she worked with several high-profile sports teams including the 2014 National Championship football team. She furthered her education with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Ohio University. After schooling, she continues to work for The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center at a medically integrated fitness facility providing physical therapy services.

In her late 20’s, Thalia found LYT® yoga – the only yoga created by a physical therapist, which uses targeted movement sequences to retrain habitual movement patterns and postural imbalances to feel stronger, more energized, and more balanced. She studied directly under Lara Heimann, LYT® method founder, and Lara’s team to further enhance her movement expertise.

Thalia utilizes the LYT® method and her medical background to make PT principles more accessible for everybody. We can all learn how to move better in life, regardless of which exercise styles we choose to practice.
